1 head of lettuce, broken
1 regular onion or 1 bunch green onions, diced
3 stalks celery, sliced
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 sm. pkg. peas
1 can water chestnuts, sliced
2 c. mayonnaise
parmesan cheese
bacon, cooked and chopped or bacon bits
3 eggs, hard boiled
Directions:
In a bowl, layer the ingredients, one on top of the other, in the order listed above. Sprinkle the top heavily with the parmesan cheese. Just before serving sprinkle the top with chopped cooked bacon or bacon bits and chopped hard boiled eggs.
