Cinnamon French Toast

3 eggs
¼ c. milk
½ t. vanilla
½ t. ground cinnamon
⅛ t. ground nutmeg
Eight 1 inch thick diagonally cut slices French bread

Directions:
In shallow bowl, beat eggs. Add vanilla, milk, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Beat well; set aside. Dip bread slices into egg mixture; cook until golden brown, turning once, about 2 minutes on each side.
